Palmer Report – Valentines Edition

Love is n the air. The first signs of colorful spring are poking through the grey of winter. I like to think of Valentines Day as a day to treat those you love. Whether it is a romantic relationship, or platonic, this day gives us the opportunity to express our feelings to those we love. In our day to day routines we can sometimes forget how fleeting life can be. Take the time this week to stop and smell the roses.

‘Nailing’ the Perfect Valentine’s Day Surprise

If you would like to treat your lady this Valentine’s Day. Or if you are a lady, and you would like to treat yourself. I have the perfect suggestion. A trip to visit Adriane’s Nail Creations. Working out of Knockout Salon in Downtown Globe Adriane is a licensed nail technician; professional, courteous and efficient. It is amazing how she transforms a simple beautification aide into an art form. Stop in the shop or call 928-812-3931 for an appointment.

Irene’s Mexican Food has gone all out with Valentine’s Day decor. Irene’s is located on the east side of Globe just off Ash Street. As you find your way to your table, self seating, you may have to sctootch and turn as this restaurant is usually packed. The menu has classic Mexican Food such as green chili, tacos and rice and beans. Even more, they serve American Food favorites such as hamburgers and hot wings. Not to be outdone this Valentine’s Day, Irene’s Real Mexican Food is serving steak dinners in a variety of styles. While steak is alsways on the menu, something tells me it will be extra special this Sunday.
