Letters to the Editor

The Globe Miami Times welcomes original letters with ideas, viewpoints, criticism and news analysis that encourage discussion on issues impacting the community. Our readership includes the Globe-Miami community and surrounding communities of San Carlos Apache Tribe, Superior, Payson, Roosevelt, and Hayden-Winkleman. Our audience is largely rural and incorporates much of central Arizona. We reach an audience of 30,000 plus and we believe your voice is important.

We limit Letters to the Editor to 200 words and letters containing information that cannot be easily verified, contain libelous statements or involve name calling will be rejected.

When submitting your letter please include any expertise or special interest you have in the topic to put your letter into context for our readers. IE: “As a teacher for 30 years, I understand the importance of creative outlets.”

Also when writing about political issues, authors need to disclose their relationship with an issue, campaign or candidate.

Please note that we allow authors to submit a letter or guest opinion weekly, but only original material sent exclusively to Globe Miami Times will be considered for publishing. ‘Publishing’ will be on line at globemiamitimes.com and through our social media feeds. Selected Letters to the Editor may be included in our print publications or newsletters as space permits.

All Letters and Opinions must have your name and contact information included, but only your name will be published with the content.

All submissions become the property of Globe Miami Times. Submission does not guarantee publication.
