Spring is marching it’s way into the atmosphere. The cool, crisp mornings break away into warm days and shady evenings. Those beautiful poppies paint the desert hills in a way that is unique to our area. The rocky hills of Globe-Miami become rolling meadows for a short time, go out and see it.

Don’t be ‘Dummy’ at the Globe Library

The Globe Library is conveniently located on Broad Street just South of Downtown Globe, Arizona. This Friday, March 11th The Friends of the Globe Library will be ‘kicking off’ Spring Break with entertainer David Zacarte. The all ages fun begins at 11am and admission is free.

Taste of the Week

Nurd Berger Cafe has become one of the lunch destinations for those who work and go to school in and around Downtown Globe. They are located on Hill Street just across from the old Hill Street School. They are open Monday through Saturday from 7am- 8pm. Nurd Berger Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Community Concert Series

Conner Chee is a classical pianist from Page, Arizona. He has been practicing the keys since the age of six. Conner will be performing on Thursday, march 10th at Miami High School Auditorium, Located just off Highway 60 on Ragus Road in Claypool, Arizona.  The concert begins at 7:00pm.

Spring Comes Alive with the Sound of Music

The Centennial Band Spring Concert  will be held at the High Desert Middle School Auditorium on Friday, March 11th at 7:00pm. Admission is free to all who wish to listen. The auditorium is located on High Desert Drive in Globe, Arizona.. The band will be playing a new selection of concert pieces including an African spiritual, a Shostakovitch Waltz, a Ragtime Piece, a Pop Tribute and a Classical number.
