Grant application for AmeriCorps is now open

A Request for Grant Application (RFGA) Solicitation concerning the AmeriCorps State Grant Program, RFGA No. AC-VSG- 18-090118-00has been released and is now available on the State of Arizona’s eCivis grant management system at https://gn.ecivis.com/GO/gn_redir/T/1gobjw2j5jaz8. Access to solicitation documents requires an eCivis account creation and log-in registration, free of charge to users.

The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family invites grant applications from Arizona entities that include school districts and institutions of higher education; local, county, tribal and state government entities; public or private non-profit and/or a community or faith-based organization, including labor organizations; and partnerships and consortia (a fiscal agent must be designated).

The AmeriCorps grants support AmeriCorps members engaged in evidence-based or evidence-informed activities that extend an organization’s ability to meet critical community needs. Grant awarded organizations are responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision, and management of AmeriCorps members.

Applications will involve use of two different web-based systems, eCivis, the State of Arizona’s web-based system referenced above and an eGrants account, the Corporation for National and Community Service’s web-based system.
