BHP, the mining company which owns the popular Dominion Mine Park across from Globe’s Chamber of Commerce, has announced that work will begin on the upper area of the park on February 11th and run through April 30th.

While only two upper trails will be closed to the public during this time, BHP notes that during this time people may notice increased road traffic and/or noise from equipment.

The Mine Cycle Circle and Buffalo Butte trails will be closed to the public (see map).

This will not affect access to the mine park, hours of operation, or use of the other trails.
