Arrest made during “Knock and Talk”

The Gila County Sheriff’s Department announced a seizure of 21.75 pounds of marijuana and 4.5 grams of THC wax during a “knock and talk” at a residence on the 700 block of Agave Drive in Globe. The incident took place on February 14th around 2:30p.m. and involved detectives from the Sheriff’s office and Globe Police. Steven Ryan Arnold of Carmichael California, and Marko Orozco of Wilton of California attempted to flee the residence and were apprehended and taken into custody. During a search of the property which included a drug-sniffing dog, marijuana and THC wax were found in vehicles located on the property with a street value of $22,000 and $450.00 respectively, plus numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia.

Both men, age 26, were booked into the Gila County Jail for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Possession of a Narcotic drug, Possession of a Narcotic drug for sale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
