The Gila County Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task Force and the Globe Police Department conducted a traffic stop on September 9th which resulted in the seizure of 118.7 grams of Methamphetamines with a street value of $11,870.00, 31.1 grams of Heroin with a street value of approximately $3,887.00, 8 Narcotic Prescription Pills with a street value at $240.00, and 3 grams of Marijuana with a street $60.00 and numerous pieces of Drug Paraphernalia.
The stop which took place on highway 60 at mile marker 244, resulted in the arrest of two individuals:
Manuel Gem Verdugo Jr., age 51, of Peoria, Arizona, was arrested and booked into the Gila County Jail for Transportation of a Narcotic Drug for Sale, Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sale, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Transportation of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Phillip Barrientez Enriquez Jr., age 30, of Phoenix, Arizona was arrested and booked into the Gila County Jail for Transportation of a Narcotic Drug for Sale, Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sale, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Transportation of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
