Warehouse Technician I – Miami, AZ Date posted 01/20/2018 Job Description – Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine warehouse duties involving the receiving, unloading inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at assigned site. Responsibilities include:
• Receive, inspect and unload goods and materials and place into inventory • Process reservations and issue material to end users utilizing the systems as defined by the company • Receive and review orders for goods and materials • Review inventory records to determine availability • Pull requested items and stage for delivery • Communicate with customers to notify if any possible delays are expected • Update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as needed to • Maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory • Initiate restock of items as necessary • Update manual or automated inventory listings • Operate a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment • Deliver material to end users, capture proof of delivery signatures, and maintain a record of delivered items • Perform cycle counting • Perform other duties as required including housekeeping and safety related tasks

Ensure compliance to Company policies, to protect the Company from all risks and liabilities. Agreements can range from low-dollar to multi-million-dollar agreements, and will span multiple types of services. Responsibilities include:
• Receive and review a wide variety of contract requests and select the most appropriate sourcing strategy based on the situation and the scope of work; may support one or more specialized areas requiring an increased depth of knowledge • Provide timely, accurate and cost effective contractual agreements to support Company operations with an uninterrupted flow of materials and services • Review bid proposals from suppliers and recommend or enter into contracts to meet the desired scope of work • Maintain competitive pricing with an emphasis on cost reductions, quality and supplier performance through competitive bid events, price negotiations, cost modeling, or other sourcing techniques • Identify supplier performance issues and work with multiple parties (internal and external to FCX) to resolve issues • Establish a strong and competitive supply base by identifying and qualifying new suppliers, and by evaluating and improving existing suppliers • Develop, maintain and enforce supplier scorecards where appropriate • Ensure compliance to Company, environmental and governmental policies and regulations, in order to reduce or eliminate Company liability • Recommend changes to new or existing corporate policies and procedures • Perform other duties as requested
