GLOBE- The grand opening of the “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” photo exhibit at the Gila County Historical Museum will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16th. Join the museum members for a variety of fun and informative activities. In addition to the photo display and guided museum tours, car enthusiasts may enjoy a vintage car display, while others may do some “Globe Rocks” painting. Other activities include face painting, a cartoonist, a photo booth and history talks by Rick Powers.
Homemade root beer and hot dogs will be for sale throughout the day. Families are encouraged to attend this child-friendly event. The museum and picnic grounds are located at 1330 North Broad Street in Globe. The Museum Board would like to thank McSpadden Ford for graciously sponsoring this exhibit. Gila County Historical Museum is a participant of the United Fund Globe-Miami.
