A FREE youth Summer Soccer Camp will be held this Saturday, May 5th in Globe,. Open to all local kids ages 3 – 11, the camp will be led by coaches from England and Brazil. Amanda Martin, the new Regional Commissioner for AYSO 543 says Challenger Sports will be hosting the camp on Saturday at the upper fields on Hagen Road in Globe (near the skate park) and ages 3-18 are welcome to come try a day of camp before signing up.
Times will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am for ages 3-11 with British coaches and 10:00 am to 11:00 am for ages 12-18 with Brazilian coaches. Please remember close toed shoes and shin guards. There will be on-site registration, and all of those who register will be receiving the official Camp T-shirt, soccer ball, action poster with camp report card, 12-month subscription to Online Coaching Resource, and the new Challenger Sports app!
Cobre Hills Soccer is the same American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 543, only with a new name and logo.
Martin and her son have been a part of AYSO for several years now and is excited to grow the programs offered by the region. She is going to be implementing Playground and Schoolyard Soccer to bring a level of participation in for younger children and their parents. With the help of the new board members for the region, Amanda is the perfect person to head the great sport of soccer in our local area.

Registration for regular soccer season will open on May 12th on our website. The first in- person registration date will be on June 2nd, at the Globe Public Library from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Additional in-person registration days will follow for those who do not have access to a computer or need assistance.
