Update from City of Globe:
Globe,Az- Announcing that the intersection of North Broad Street/US 60 entrance (only) will be closed for a week beginning at 7:00 AM, Friday, September 18th.
It will reopen by 7:00 AM, Saturday, September 25th.
Arizona Eastern Railroad will have a Bridge Crew working on the trestle at the North Broad Street/US60 intersection to:
- Remove old hand rails
- Remove defective ties, and
- Replace with new ties
Traffic will be prohibited to enter/exit at the intersection during this time. To access Downtown Globe please use the following alternative entries/exits from US60:
- Hackney Avenue
- Mesquite Street
- Cedar Street
- Oak Street
- Hill Street
Please note, there will be no closure of the US60 (Ash Street) during this time.
During this same period, the City of Globe will be completing the long awaited “Historic Downtown Globe” entrance project. Thank you to our dedicated partners:
