GLOBE- Help raise funds that support the arts in Globe and San Carlos, with a chance to win a colorful and unique 4-by-8 painting to keep — or donate your win to a gallery, or another cause you support. Nine one-of-a-kind Masonite panels painted on March 6 during the AZ Poppy Fest Graffiti Aerosol Art Competition will be sold via bids entered in a hybrid online and in-person auction from March 26 – 31 at the the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts at 101 North Broad Street in Globe, where the panels are on exhibit. Bids can be made in-person at CVCA during regular business hours 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-thru-Sunday, bids may also be submitted by email to azpoppyfest@gmail.com
Cash prizes were already awarded to the top three contest winners; proceeds from the silent auction will be equally divided between CVCA, the Miami Arts Advisory Council, Rhythm & Rhyme, and the San Carlos Apache Tribe.
