Miami Fiesta 2025 moved from Bullion Plaza to downtown Miami this year

The new venue offered plenty of space for dancing, chihuahua races, vendors and viewing

The Stand Off. This year's chihuahua races brought some real competitors who squared off on the sidelines much to the amusement of the crowd. Even to the point of distracting one of the contestants who jumped over the fence to join the fray. No worries. It all ended well!

The Superior Dance Company brought two dozen dancers to perform at the Fiesta. Owners of the dance company are Billie Jo Villaverde and Joe Rodriquez.

The Miami Fiesta, held in downtown Miami for the first time this year, seemed to work well for the crowd and event hosts. The Miami Genesis team, hosts of the event each year, was led by Board member Christine Duarte and a host of volunteers. An afternoon shower dampened booths and early attendees, but didn't last long and crowds returned to enjoy the bands and evening entertainment.
