60 of the 70 cars on the lot at Courtesy Ford of Globe damaged in the flood

The owner wants to know if funds will be available for recovery

During the Emergency Meeting at City Hall on Saturday, local business owner Dale Hicks, Dealer Principal, of Courtesy Ford asked the Mayor after the meeting about any funds which may be made available to help local businesses recover and if so how they would make the determination on priority of funds. Courtesy Ford, which has a showroom on Hwy. 60 and a parts store on North Broad, was severely impacted by Saturday's flood.

60 of his 70 cars on the lot were damaged, and the parts store with nearly $250,000 of inventory appeared to be a complete loss, Hicks said

This is a developing story.
