The Globe-Miami community gathered to commemorate one year since the Sept. 26 flood that struck the community in 2025. The memorial, State of Globe: One Year Later, was held in front of Globe's town hall and focused on the impact of the flood and the community’s recovery since.
The flood was one of the most significant disasters in the community’s history and drew national attention. Three people died, residents were trapped by floodwaters, and homes and businesses were destroyed.
Here we share photos of those who came together to recognize this event.
