CANCELED: Ghosts of Globe Walking Tour -- 27th Annual Event
Oct 25, Saturday, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
This guided walk along historic Broad Street in downtown Globe re-tells tales from Globe’s territorial past. In theatrical style, and faithful to local history, re-enactors bring to life stories of infamous former residents, spectral sightings, and documented True West history of olden days.
Tickets are $25/per person, children under 10 FREE when chaperoned by a paid adult. For a group rate of $300 for 15 or more people, or if you have questions, call or text Macabre Miss Molly Cornwell 480-345-7477 or email historicglobeaz@gmail.com
Buy tickets online in advance, or that evening at the 1916 Globe Train Depot at 230 South Broad Street; then starting at 6:00 p.m. guests are guided from lantern-lit station to station, on a walk through Globe's historic district. This lantern lit tour involves stairs, alleys, uneven pavement surfaces, and a shuttle to bring you back to the starting point at the end of your tour. Comfortable, closed-toed shoes are suggested, and a flashlight. Historic buildings along the tour include the 1916 Globe Train Depot Complex, the 1910 Territorial Sheriff's Office and Jail, the 1906 Territorial Gila County Courthouse.
