Celebrating our graduates

Graduation season has arrived across the Copper Corridor. In this issue, we celebrate students from Globe, Miami, San Carlos and Liberty high schools as they take the next step toward their futures. By the end of May, the four schools will have graduated nearly 300 students. Higher education milestones were also reached across the region, with Cobre Valley Institute of Technology awarding more than 100 certificates of completion, San Carlos Apache College conferring 52 certificates and degrees, and Gila Community College’s Gila Pueblo campus in Globe holding its first commencement ceremony as an independent college, awarding three associate degrees and 84 certificates of proficiency.
