On Friday evening, June 26th, the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce gathered at the Apache Gold Casino and Resort to celebrate the best of our community at the annual Copper Globe Awards.

Eight awards were presented across new and returning categories, with several standout first-time honors joining the program. Congratulations to every nominee, finalist, and winner — your dedication makes this community stronger.

The following list was provided by the Chamber:

Resolution Copper : Large Business of the Year

Resolution Copper’s commitment to Globe-Miami goes far deeper than the mining industry. Through scholarships, local job creation, active participation on nonprofit boards, and genuine investment in workforce development, they have consistently demonstrated that hometown pride is more than a phrase. When the floods came, their employees were side by side with residents and local businesses — mucking out homes, clearing debris, and supporting recovery efforts. Community Engagement Advisors Bryan Seppala and Ana Vargas were specifically recognized for their role in building strong, lasting relationships throughout the region. The award was accepted on the company’s behalf by Community Engagement Liaison Aaron Miles.

Anna’s Petals:     Small Business of the Year

When words fall short, flowers speak — and no one in Globe-Miami knows that better than the team at Anna’s Petals. Working tirelessly to create arrangements for life’s most meaningful moments, from celebrations to farewells and everything in between, Anna’s Petals has built a reputation for work that is thoughtful, beautiful, and deeply personal. The stunning floral arrangements adorning tables at Friday night’s event were their handiwork. They were also honored this year with BusinessRate’s Best of 2026 – Best Florist in Gila County and recognized as a finalist in the Best of the Desert Community Choice Awards – Floral Shop category.

Sara K Foundation   Non-Profit of the Year (New Category)

After losing a beloved family member to substance abuse, the founders of the Sara K Foundation made a courageous decision to ensure that no other family would face that journey alone. Through awareness campaigns, education, advocacy, and prevention efforts, they have built a lasting legacy in her memory. This year’s judges recognized their unwavering commitment to the Globe-Miami community — proof that even in life’s darkest moments,

Justin Henderson: Male Entrepreneur of the Year

Justin Henderson, owner of Just-In-Time Heating & Cooling built his business the old-fashioned way: hard work, integrity, and putting customers first. Starting with little more than a strong work ethic and a clear vision, he earned the trust of customers throughout Globe-Miami through fairness, dependability, and consistently excellent service. Those who know him describe a business built not just on skill but on character — and a team that reflects those same values every day. Tonight, the community recognized what his customers have known for years.

Sarah Alexander & Erika Flores: Female Entrepreneurs of the Year

Sarah Alexander and Erika Flores built Pretty Kind Boutique on a simple but powerful belief: kindness matters. Together, they’ve created far more than a successful retail business — they’ve built a place where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired. Their reach into the community extends through Pretty Kind Prom, Pretty Kind Minds, Small Business Saturday promotion, and active mentorship of fellow entrepreneurs and new business owners. In honoring them as Female Entrepreneurs of the Year, the Copper Globe judges recognized that true success is measured not just by what you build, but by the lives you touch along the way.

Public Works Director Jon Angulo Named Top Public Servant

When last year’s devastating floods hit Globe-Miami, Public Works Director Jon Angulo went to work and didn’t stop. Long days turned into sleepless nights as he and his crew cleared roads, restored critical infrastructure, and helped the community begin its recovery. Those who nominated him called him instrumental in the flood response — a leader who made difficult decisions with calm and expertise. True to his character, he would likely tell you this award belongs to his entire crew. Tonight, Globe-Miami says otherwise.

Don and Angela Earven:  Citizen of the Year

Donald Earven doesn’t seek recognition — he seeks to help. Following last year’s floods, he spent countless hours in his community clearing debris from creeks, pulling stranded vehicles to safety, and repairing homes and property, all while his own business was recovering from damage. His service stretches well beyond disaster relief: years of sponsorships, fundraisers, and acts of quiet generosity have left an unmistakable mark on Globe-Miami. Alongside his wife, he also founded a nonprofit in memory of their son to support families navigating childhood cancer. For all of this and more, he is this year’s Citizen of the Year.

Jordan Jastrow: Customer Service Excellence

That phrase, written by one of Jordan Jastrow’s nominators, says everything. Described as cheerful, fast, friendly, and dependable, not just occasionally but consistently, Jordan has earned a rare reputation: the kind where customers genuinely look forward to the interaction. Warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy, she treats every customer with courtesy and genuine care regardless of how busy it gets. Her consistency, kindness, and professionalism set the standard for what exceptional customer service looks like in Globe-Miami.
