For anyone with a zeal for costumes, colors and centuries-old fashion, the Center for the Arts currently has an incredible collection of handmade costumes and vintage dresses on display. Think extravagant hats, 1880s France and the Emerald City.
"The Art of the Costume" showcases the designing genius of Diana Tunis, Holly Brantley and Ginny Sonne, in addition to a donated wedding dress collection from Mike and Vicki Brackel and vintage pieces donated by Susie Baker. Many of the pieces were used in plays produced by the Copper Cities Community Players, or made as custom ensembles designed for Molly Cornwell and the annual Easter Parade event (which takes place every year in downtown Globe).
The display is up until July 30. Don't miss out on this spectacular exhibit!
