The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts kicked off its membership drive on Oct. 29 with Haunted Hollywood Halloween, featuring the 18-member Globe Miami Centennial Band playing favorites from The Nightmare Before Christmas to The Simpsons theme in the Northeast Gallery. Guests enjoyed a red-on-black hors d’oeuvres buffet prepared by board members and volunteers, and many signed up as members on the spot with just a phone and a couple of clicks.
Memberships start at just $50, and every level supports the center’s mission: advancing the performing and visual arts in Globe-Miami and maintaining the beloved 1906 building at Oak and Broad — home, by the way, to seven bank vaults across three floors.
More than a historic landmark, the center is a hub for community programs. Your membership helps make possible the annual Ghosts of Globe tour, the Copper Cities Community Players performances on the third-floor of the theater, the upcoming Christmas mixer and Festival of Trees, gallery exhibits, workshops and new events planned for 2027.
Support the arts and become a member today at CobreValleyArts.com.
