Apache Artisan Workshops This Fall at Peridot Culture Center Museum

SANCARLOS- The San Carlos Apache Culture Center Museum in Peridot is proud to announce a series of Apache Artisan Workshops scheduled for fall 2025. These hands-on cultural classes are designed to share traditional Apache skills with the community and feature instruction by accomplished local artisans.

Each workshop is limited to 10 participants, with a $20 fee per class, except for the Tulipai corn drink class, which is free. Saturday sessions run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday sessions from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Apache Moccasin Making

Saturday, October 4 & Sunday afternoon, October 5

Apache Camp Dress Sewing

Saturday, October 18 & Sunday afternoon, October 19

Traditional Apache Tulipai Corn Drink (Free Class)

Apache Basket Weaving

Saturday, November 1 & Sunday afternoon, November 2
Instructor: Master Weaver Evelyne Martin Rope

Participants will receive additional information on supplies and materials in advance of each class, along with artisan spotlights in feature articles leading up to the workshops.
