Liberty High School Invites Participation in Student Progress Night Sept. 23 

Invitation to local organizations, agencies, businesses, and community project organizers who work with families and youth to set up a table and share your resources. Our goal is to connect students and families with community partners. To host a table, please contact Tyson Figueroa at tfigueroa@liberty-high.net. The event is held at Liberty High School Cafe, 1300 E. Cedar Street on Tuesday, September 23.



Church holds Annual Fiesta Nov. 9

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church will be holding its Annual Fiesta on November 9. The funds raised by the Annual Fiesta are used for expenses in maintaining our parish throughout the upcoming year. Any donations of supplies/monetary/raffle items will be greatly appreciated by our staff in preparing for this year’s Fiesta. We’re looking for community members to join our advisory board help guide STEAM educational and community science research efforts, and inform community practices. Backpack Program for homeless teens needs your help! The local Backpack Program for Homeless Teens provides food bags to teens in need, ensuring they have access to food even when school meals are unavailable. You can help by signing up for Fry’s Community Rewards and select “The Backpack Program for Homeless Teens” or donate food; non-perishable shakes, easy-to prepare meals or fresh fruit.
