Broad St. Globe, Arizona, will host a benefit concert for Cassandra Brandt. Cassandra was in a car accident that left her dealing with paralysis. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to help her and her family deal with burden of medical expenses. Allstate Insurance will be placing field level, dugout tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks on auction. United Jewelers is donating an Ibanez guitar with practice for the auction. Many more items will be available at a fraction of their valued price such as: Hollis Cinema Movie Tickets, Cobre Valley Country Club Rounds of Golf w/cart, La Luz Gift Certificate and more. To top it all off, there is an all star line up of bands with both Low Expectations and Howlin Booty rocking the stage, as well as the long awaited return of Sinthetic. Come on down this Sunday for a delicious meal, inspiring music, a charitable cause and a chance to win big.

The latest buzz in Globe/Miami music is coming from a new cover band that has hit the ground running. Low Expectations has been playing every weekend for months and they show no sign of slowing. This week they will be at Jammerz, 598 N Broad St. Globe, Arizona, on Friday starting at 8pmSaturday they will be playing at the Drift Inn Saloon, 636 n. Broad St. Globe, Arizona, from 8pm until the cows come home as well as Sunday when they perform as one of the acts for the Cassandra Brandt Benefit Concert from 2pm-6pm.
Some of us have come to know Wednesday as “Hump Day”. The dreaded mid-week mark that gets us over the hill and headed toward the weekend. This Wednesday, June 3rd, from 8pm until midnight, unwind with a little mood music from Sinthetic as they host an open mic at Humphrey’s Two Lanes Saloon, 1515 E Ash St, Globe, Ariz. Whether you enjoy a nice cold brew, cocktail or plate of fries and soda, Two Lanes has an open air patio for you to relax and take in the summer air.
Have the words “I’m bored” escaped your child’s mouth yet this summer? If so, send them down to 420 S Hill St. Globe, Ariz. this Friday from 5pm – 8pm for some all ages, live music. Bring the whole family and enjoy Taylor Harrison’s new restaurant, Nurd Berger Cafe. Prizes will be given out to those who arrive in costume, any costume is acceptable but must be decent and family friendly. For entertainment n open mic event hosted by Stephen Palmer will feature some of Globe/Miami’s talented youth as they brave the microphone and perform. This event is all ages and open to the public. If you wish to play at the open mic all you need to do is ask.
If you have not noticed the music scene in Globe/Miami now might be the time to check it out. Stephen Palmer has made it his duty to round up local musicians and promote their shows. In an attempt to involve kids who are 20 and under Stephen is hosting two all ages events this weekend. The first is Friday, June 5th at Nurd Berger Cafe. The second event is Music in the Park which is Saturday, June 5th from 4pm-6pm at the City of Globe Downtown Train Park, 150 N Pine St. This event is open to all ages.
Bring your family and picnic in the grass while being serenaded with the sounds of local music. As the night sets in stroll down the street with us to Farley’s Pub, 230 N Broad St. Globe, Ariz. for “Palmer and Pals” open mic night. Farley’s has become the hot spot for Saturday night open mic’s and this Saturday, June 6th will be no different. Get out of the house and come celebrate the evening in downtown Globe with us.
