Erlinda Briones, 91

Erlinda C. Briones, 91, a life-long resident of Miami, AZ, passed away January 27, 2014, at her daughter Irene’s house, in Chandler, AZ. She was born January 9, 1923, in Miami, to proud parents Epitacio and Francisca (Gaona) Castaneda. She married Dionicio Briones on September 7, 1940, in Miami. He preceded her in death in 1997. She loved life, her garden, and being with family and friends. Erlinda worked for, and retired from, Gila General Hospital. She loved to go to the casino. Mom will be truly missed. 

Erlinda is survived by 4 daughters, Irene Cienfuegos, Gloria (Alfred) Martinez, Mary Lou (Terry) Reynolds and Shelly Arredondo; a son, Andy (Monika) Briones; 1 brother, Robert Castaneda; 9 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
