The 27th annual Apache Leap Mining Festival is set for March 13 through 15 in Superior, AZ. The event attracts people from all over the state to try their hand at competitions in sawing, mucking, drilling and spiking for $2000 in prize money. The event will also feature chihuahua races, entertainment by Navajo dancing group Dineh Tah and Bobby Cook & His Band, a carnival, food, music, dancing and a parade.
