United Fund of Globe-Miami to discontinue funding for Taliesen; Announces 30 applications received for 2018

Globe, AZ- United Fund prepares for 2018 Campaign

United Fund of Globe-Miami Inc. (UF) is proud to announce that we have received 30 applications for funding in 2018.  These applications are currently under review to determine which organizations will be funded.  With this number of applications, UF continues to need the community’s support to raise funds to assist the local non-profits.

Our mission continues to be:  Strategically elevating the Globe-Miami communities by connecting local charities and donors.

The 2018 campaign will kick-off for the General Public in October.  We remind everyone that donations are accepted anytime during the year to help meet the budgeted dollars for each approved agency.

WHAT ABOUT TALIESIN GLOBE-MIAMI STUDIO PROJECT?

After careful review of the results of the Taliesin Globe-Miami Studio Project, The United Fund Board has discontinued their funding of this project.  Our local non-profit mission and vision were not being met by the Studio Project.  To best serve the Globe-Miami Community, we have “circled the wagons” and refocused our investments in local charities.
