Pedestrian struck on Broad Street on Thursday

A pedestrian was struck by an SUV while crossing Broad Street on Thursday evening.

According to a report from Globe Police and Fire, the pedestrian was crossing near Blake Street when he was struck by a vehicle turning off of Blake Street onto Broad.

The man was treated at the scene and then airlifted to a hospital in the Phoenix area for treatment of his injuries.

No other details were available, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the police report.
