Palmer Report August 5th – 11th

School has begun in our small corner of the world. The kids are filled with excitement and dread as they head off to find old friends and meet some new. These friendships may last a few weeks, a year or even a lifetime. As we grow older we can sometimes forget the joy of meeting new people. The world around us is so frustrating on a daily basis that we lose touch with the happiness of just being in the moment. I dare you to step out this weekend and meet someone new. Here are a few opportunities.

DJ Scoprion

Most of us who know DJ Scorpion know him as Victor Arrellin. When he is up there spinnin that equipment, the stinger comes out and it’s party time. Playing everything from rock to rap DJ Scorpion keeps his selection versatile. Requests are welcomed and can be played off of your phone or other device if you so desire. This week you can catch DJ Scorpion on two different dates at two separate locations. The first date is Thursday August 6th at the Shamrock Bar on Highway 60 in Claypool, Arizona. The party starts at 9pm and goes to last call. If you miss Thursday do not worry. Friday August 7th DJ Scorpion will be blowin it up at the Drift Inn Saloon. Again the party starts at 9pm and goes all night.
