Photographer Elizabeth Eaton to host showing at Cobre Valley Center for the Arts

GLOBE- Work by local Photograph, Elizabeth Eaton, will be showcased at the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts this October.  
An Open House is scheduled for October 6th, Friday from 5 p.m. – 7 p,m,
 
Eaton invites everyone to the open house where there will be wine, cheese & crackers.
 
Eaton, who has lived in the community for 30 years retired from teaching seven years ago and has since “jumped head first” into photographing the rich diversity of the area. Eizabeth says she “fell in love with the beautiful, rich desert and wonderful people who reside here” and spends most days driving around and checking out the community and taking photos. 

 
Her work has been shown at various galleries including her first exhibit at CVCA which featured one of her Fort Thomas students’  Sunrise Ceremony. Also, local museum, Besh Ba Gowah has purchased a series which are now on permanent exhibit and Bullion Plaza Museum in Miami purchased a series of images for their museum where several are on permanent display and a few are available for sale in their museum shop. Local Globe cafe,  The Copper Hen has also displayed Eaton’s work.
